Mr James Conner,
Dear Brother As I am under heavy expense I wish you would pay Louisa at once for the goods I sent you which is $19.50 for I have drawn my account a lead and am still short and as moving and expenses are heavy I want all the money I can get to live. One from Exhaous sent you told me you would pay for the goods as soon as you got them so if you have not paid her pay it at once for I sent all the money I could spare made calculations on you paying her which would let us out all right act promptly and oblige.
Your Brother G.Crook
